Features: Digital Services currently uses two different DSLR cameras when capturing 360 Museum Objects/Artifacts, the Canon EOS 5DS DSLR Camera with a Canon EF 50mm f/2.5 Compact-Macro lens and Nikon D810 DSLR Camera with a Nikon AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G ED lens. Either camera can be used for capture of 360 Museum Objects/Artifacts. During the capture of an item, a camera is mounted on the Manfrotto Tripod. The tripod allows the adjustment of the angle, height, and position of the camera in relation to the item being captured. Generally two types of platforms are used for reproduction of 360 Museum Objects/Artifacts, the Ortery PhotoCapture 360L Turntable and the AmazonBasics Portable Photo Studio. The AmazonBasics Portable Photo Studio is a portable photo booth with built-in LED lights and a seamless white background used for capturing 3D items that will be displayed as single shot stills online. The photo studio contains two capture windows in the front and on the top of the booth where the tripod and camera can be setup to capture the items. The Ortery PhotoCapture 360L Turntable is an automated platform used to capture 3D items that will be displayed as a revolving 360 degree flash video online. The automated turntable rotates every two degrees for a total of 180 stops in which the camera will capture an image at each stop. When capturing an item on the 360 turntable, either the Viltrox LED Video Light Panel Lighting Kit or the Smith-Victor Softbox Light Kit is used depending on how the subject needs to be illuminated.

How we use it:  Digitization of 360 Museum Objects/Artifacts such as figurines, clothing, flatware and pop-up/movable books; general 3D objects.
